Movie and a Message
The Cape Fear Community College Veterans Center and CFCC Counseling have partnered to host "Movie and a Message" on Wednesday, Sept. 4th from 1- 4pm in CFCC Union Station, U-170, 50 North Front Street. The CFCC Veterans Center has been given exclusive access to the rights to screen “The Keeper". This feature film covers the true story of a veteran's journey on the Appalachian Trail to honor fallen service members. Perry Steed, founder of Operation: Purpose, will begin a discussion on Veteran Suicide Awareness and the Buddy Check concept.
Ride for Light 2024
Ride for Light will depart from Wilmington, NC traveling the Country bringing renewed awareness to the ever-present epidemic of Veteran Suicide. Spreading hope, love, and fostering a sense of community with those they meet. Please follow along as they connect with their battle buddies, Veterans, and strangers alike!
